Today, RAI hosted the annual scientific conference “Transport. Education. Logistics and Engineering – 2025,” bringing together academics, industry representatives, students, and professionals to discuss current challenges and innovations in the fields of transport, education, and engineering.

The Plenary Session was managed by RAI External Relations Director Asnāte Venckava and featured keynote speeches by:

– Dr.sc.ing. Anatolijs Melnis, Rector of RAI

– Ph.D. Arturs Kokars, Director of the Aviation Department, Ministry of Transport

– MBA Zigmārs Vestfāls, Chief Executive Officer at the Aviation Association of Latvia. Work continued in sections:

Section 1: "Higher Education Meets Industry 4.0: A Digital Approach to Professional Training" was conducted by Dr. sc. ing. I. Arandas and Dr. sc. ing. I. Blumbergs.

Section 2: "Innovation, Economy, and Business Management" was conducted by Dr. oec. K. Savenkovs and Mg. A. Venckava.

Section 3: "Engineering Approaches to Transport Technologies and Logistics" was conducted by Dr.sc.com. V. Reiskarts and Dr. sc. ing. K. Nechval.

Participants presented their research findings, exchanged experiences, and strengthened cooperation between academia and industry.
